On the Golden Gate Photo Shoot ride we had six bikes. The riders were Eric Walters, Ben Johnstone, Mark Quam, Denise Dawe, Bob Gonzales and George Homenko. Kick stands were up at at 9:30 when we left Shari’s. Weather was overcast at the start, but it soon cleared to a beautiful fall day. We rode from Rohnert Park to Two Rock, then Chileno Road to Marin County, past the Cheese Factory to Rancho Nicasio for a morning pit stop. After the break we rode out Lucas Valley Rd and down 101 to the GG Bridge. If you take the last exit before the bridge the road will lead you up to the Marin headlands and a spectacular view of the Golden Gate. We stopped and the top for some sight seeing and pictures. We then drove down to Fort Baker located under the GG Bridge. There is a good spot there to shoot portraits with the bridge in the background. I think we got some good pictures.

For lunch we drove into Sausalito and bought deli sandwiches and ate them at the nearby Bay Model. Ben and I took Sir Francis Drake Blvd. out to Highway 1 and then home. The rest of the riders took the short cut up highway 101 to Sonoma County.

All in all a good day!
