We had 17 riders and bikes on this run. The air finally cleared and we were all treated to some beautiful Sonoma County clear sky. Kickstands were up at 9:30 and the first leg took us through Valley Ford, Occidental, Camp Meeker and to a break stop at Duncan Mills. This first section took about an hour to ride.

Just before 11:00 we rode to hwy 1 through Jenner past Russian Gulch and onto Meyer’s Grade. The road from Meyer’s Grade to Tin Barn contained a stretch that many of us had never been on before. The first time I was on this section of road, was on the pre-ride just a few days ago. It was a bit twisty but no major potholes and some really pretty scenery. I don’t think we saw a single car. We made our lunch stop at Stewart’s Point just after 12:00.

After about an hour for lunch we headed down 1 to Bodega Bay. The last stop was at an ice cream parlor at the south end of town. Goodbyes were said and ice cream was eaten. The group split up and headed for home. I made Santa Rosa by 3:30. Total miles about 130. Good Times!
