We had a beautiful sunny, blue sky day for our ride to Fairfield. We started with 22 bikes and 22 riders but picked up 3 more bikes and 4 riders by the time we hit our lunch stop.

We took all back roads along Mark West Springs and Calistoga Roads, up to Angwin, through Pope Valley to the Pope Canyon-Knoxville rest stop at the top of Lake Berryessa. We notice a lot of people fishing in the lake. Too nice of a day to be inside for sure. Even though we rode through last year’s burn area, the green grass and spring flowers were nice to see. 🌻🌼

After our rest break, we rode to 128 to Pleasant Valley Rd and into Fairfield. After gassing up, lunch was next at Three Restaurant. We arrived at our “reserved” time, but another party arrived late and backed up the whole lunch process. On a positive note, we got to visit with each other more. Finally, everyone was served, and the food was good.

We said our goodbyes and half the group took the quicker home along 12, while the other half of the group meandered along back roads to Lake Herman Rd. to 37 and home.
Thanks to all who rode  😎 Until our next adventure…..
