A foggy start for our Williams ride, but it didn’t matter to the 17 riders that showed up. We knew the sun would appear soon, and it didn’t disappoint.
We headed north to Mark West Springs Rd, to Calistoga then to 128. Our first stop was Turtle Rock where another member joined us. After out break, we continued on to Winters, where a rider left us. We headed north to 16. Then west on 16 to Capay where we headed north on Road 85 and east on 6 to Dunnigan for a gas and rest stop.
Next stop was only 16 miles up Interstate 5 to Williams. Granzella’s was very busy, and after being told it would be a 35-45 minute wait one rider said he was out of there. Luckily, we were able to get seated in the bar restaurant in about 10 minutes! After lunch, we headed west on 20 to 53 south with our final stop and goodbyes at Hidden Valley Shell.
Thank goodness it wasn’t as hot as it was suppose to be. Thanks to all for a good ride!
