It was a day like last Wednesday that reminds me why I live in California. Not many other parts of the country can have a January day like we just did. Cool in the morning with a little fog that cleared quickly into a spectacularly sparkling day, little to no wind, bright sun and florescent green hills. What a great January Day!

We had 17 riders, all single up. Two of the riders, Steve and Ed, came all the way from the east bay to ride with us. The word is getting out there we are a great club. Kickstands were up at 10am. First break was at Rancho Nicasio. We then rode out Sir Francis Drake Blvd to Olema and on to Inverness Park to pick up sandwiches for lunch. From there it was a beautiful ride out to Drakes Bay where we ate lunch by the elephant seals.

The ride back tracked along Tomales Bay to Point Reyes Station and then up Highway 1 to Nick’s Cove. We had a short break at the cove and said our goodbyes. Really a nice ride that I never get tired of.
